Celebrate Recovery - Wed. 6:45 - 8:15 PM (Room 303)

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered support group ministry.  CR helps individuals and famillies overcome their hurts, habits, and hang-ups through biblical principles and worship.
A person that attends CR will experience worship, bible teaching, and a small group Bible study.   The heart of CR is the eight biblical principles taken from the Beatitudes.

  1. Realize I'm not God; I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and my life is unmanageable. (Matt 5:3)

  2. Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to him, and that he has the power to help me recover.  (Matt 5:4)

  3. Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ's care and control.  (Matt 5:5)

  4. Openly examine and confess my faults to God, to myself, and to someone I trust.  (Matt 5:8)

  5. Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects.  (Matt 5:6)

  6. Evaluat all my relationships; Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I've done to others except when to do so would harm them or others. (Matt 5:7,9)

  7. Reserve a daily time with God for self-examination, Bible readings and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.  (Matt 5:10)

  8. Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.  (Matt 5:10)

We would love to see you at CR on Wednesday nights.  Come and eat with us at 5:30 PM.  Worship begins at 6:45 PM in room 303 and small group immediately follows.  Child care is available.  If you have any questions call the church office at 817.232.8210.  Sincerely, Nathan
